Our Location
What Our Guests Say...
Charming Vintage Home in Historic Saint Mary’s
We loved this charming home. There were six of us – three couples. We each had a bedroom and bathroom to ourselves and plenty of room to spare. There are a lot of special touches and antiques in the house that complete the character of the house. We tooled around town and visited the chalk art contest and music in the park. We spent a lot of time inside as it was hot and humid outside. The air conditioner works great. We played a lot of cards. Our two favorite restaurants were Saint Mary’s Seafood & More and The Riverside Cafe.
It was very comfortable. We felt very much at home. Would stay there again and again!
Very clean. Really a beautiful home. Loved it!
Charming & Spacious
We loved this spacious, historic house! This is the place to stay in the area! Thanks!
Perfect Home for Family
The Captain Morse House was the PERFECT home for our family while in St. Mary’s for our son’s wedding. With 3 kiddos in the military, our time together as a family is very limited so it was great to be under one roof. Not only was this home spacious on the inside, but the large porch areas and backyard were perfect. Located in the heart of St. Mary’s, everything was within walking distance. We LOVE the owners and will definitely be returning for another visit!!
Cute, convenient, comfortable!
The house is great. The beds are really comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and basics. There are several restaurants within walking distance and the waterfront is 200 yards away to go look at the boats. The Cumberland Island tour office is across the street. Antique shops and a coffee/wine shop are on either side with more nearby. Don’t miss the ice cream at Bessie’s and Market on the Square – I got a huge scoop for about $2.50!You’ll enjoy your stay in the Captain Morse house.
